Teacher Training and Feedback

You’ve decided to have a program and made a plan to set it up, or maybe you’re joining an existing program. How do you get training? Or maybe you’ve been teaching for awhile, but you’re the only teacher on your team. How can you get constructive feedback, receive professional development, and continue to grow in your teaching skills?

As we consider the type of program that you’re offering and the goals you have, we will determine the best teacher training options for you. Training options include:

  • A teacher training course offered in-person or via Zoom
  • Periodic workshops
  • An online certificate or graduate program
  • An online cohort with other workers teaching around the world

Special Workshops Available:

  • Working with Preschool/Elementary English Learners
  • Teaching Adult Literacy Learners (curriculum outline also available)

Even experienced teachers can benefit from feedback to help them grow in their craft. Options for feedback include:

  • Personalized feedback
    • We will choose some areas of focus, and I will observe (in-person or via a recorded video) the lesson and provide feedback on those areas.
  • General feedback
    • We discuss your areas of difficulty, create some options for other ideas to try, and meet back later to discuss the progress
  • Cohort model (Subject to availability)
    • Cohort members will view and discuss videos of lessons
